Thomas,
Ole

Ein paar Umänderungen
Here I've continued both left and right handtrack and it now connects to the secondary line.
The right handtrack goes upwards and the other 2 downwards, as one train enters either track the turnout will automatically switch over.
Another view from the hilltop
Front view with signal
To create the 2nd line I had to chop through the foresthill and some of the tracks have already been put into place with a c-k conversion track.
I've added another turnout (before just a curved track going into the sidetrack)
This is the bottom end of the alteration.
Here another righthand turnout was added.
Between boards (modules) I use several smaller k-tracks, this enables me to push all the k-tracks (from different angles) together.
This is a view from the far end.
Chipped away some of the soil
Another Section
Here I added a righthand turnout followed by a double switch (righthand side)
Another double switch is connected to the 2 loose ends.
This is another cutout section with a curved track.
Added a piece of cork underlay
Placed the curved track on top of it and everything fits nicely
Now I've hotglued the track to the corkbed
Ballast it
Now I've connected the other smaller tracks including swiching track (to turn signal red)
Here again is the whole section
Cut a piece of cork
Cut it into shape
Left the cork overhang into the conversiontrack to keep same hight.
The corkbed is now placed under the track and everything is lined up
The corkbed is marked on both sides of the board
With an electric staple gun the corkbed is stapled to the board.
The track is now place on top of the corkbed and hotglued on several spots
Ballast is applied and brushed into the track with the help of a toothbrush
Moss is replaced
After the toothbrush has done its job, the ballast gets a coat of glue-water
Here is the almost finished Alteration
I thought it was easier to cut a track to the right size instead of ripping up all the glued down cork (later construction: stapled it down for easy removal)
the under side of the trimmed track
Here you can see the added trimmed track
Not having enough space to fit a transition track, I cut and opened the end sleeper of the C-track and fitting them with fish plates (nothing to do with red herrings).
an overall view of the K-C turnouts.
This photo shows a C-K transition track converted with a switching track (24994).
Added some stairs to reach the signal,
Here you can see the left & right track has been added to the main branch line.
ÖBB 674 (3109) is waiting for a green signal and guess what, it has lights at the back aswell (Led's).
We now have a transport depot that can be serviced without interruptions.
This part of the layout has 10 tracks, 3 branchlines and 7 main lines.
Here you almost can see 7 tracks

Need to isolate tracks (Diesel locos tracks)
An overall view of the changed layout configuration
Some fixing is still needed, e.g. turnout solenoid motors, turnout lanterns, isolating tracks, hence the missing finishing touches (Ballast).

Could'nt help showing you the "Elephant" SBB C 5/6 (2' 10' 0')
Have to wait for some turnout solenoid motors and lanterns, more switching tracks (c-track), fill in all the gaps with ballast, clean all the tracks, connect all wiring and try it all out and hopefully everything works all right.
My next task will be (one small section only) to fix the overhead system (underneath the castle)
