Just back from a very enjoyable 5 days in Ireland. Managed to find no fewer than 8 071's on passenger in a 6 day period, so plenty of work for them at the moment. Lots of detailed workings can be found on the Irish Rail Yahoo group at:

The temporary loco hauled train from Dublin Connolly to Sligo is still working though the staff at Sligo said this turn would finish very shortly. New 22000 IC DMUs are making tests and crew training on the line already.
From Heuston an 071 can quite often be found on Waterford, Westport, Limerick and Galway turns vice 201, its all down to Inchicore which trains work. A rough guide is the "ready" track at Inchicore depot as locos generally come off in order, but some trains are push-pull so don't need loco off shed, see above group for more detailed info.
