I see that every forum is equal, in Italy like in Austria!!
I didn't undestand anything but it seems funny.
So Lukas I live in Florence and sometimes (1 time a year) I come in Austria in Tirol because I can't live without.....
faccio l'architetto, ho 40 anni, non parlo tedesco purtroppo.

In italiano: Quanti anni HA? (if you speak with one person)
Che lavoro FA (see up)
LEI parla tedesco? (if you speak to me.... if you speak with another person and ask me: LUI is ok.

But in a friendly way you can say:
Parli tedesco?
Che lavoro fai?
quanti anni hai?
