hello all!
in last few weeks I was going several times to Austria, and I noticed two interesting former railway lines:
- the first one I noticed near Huettenberg. Where that line was closed; and are there any chances for the reopening? I have also few photos of the Huettenberg station; if somebody is interested, please let me know!
- the second one I noticed between Leibnitz and the Seggau castle - also a iron bridge near the Leibnitz city centre is preserved... Any details about that line - closure dates etc...?
thnx and regards from Zagreb

Leibnitz:
It was the "Sulmtalbahn" (Sulm valley line). It was opened on 13.10.1907, operatet by the Südbahn and from 1924 on the ÖBB (or it's predecessor). On April the first 1930 GKB took over the operation, as they held the majority of Sulmtalbahn AG. Passenger operation was stoped on 27th of May 1967 an operation was ceased on 31st that same month. The line section from Pölfing-Brunn to Gleinstätten still exists an ist operatet by GKB to this day. The remainders of the line have the purpose of a bicycle route today. This year a book covering the History of the line was presented and should be available via one of the authors, see http://www.fenstergucker.com/?state=01- ... 09&page=14# !
