Hello all!
I am interested if there is any traffic on the narrow gauge line Mixnitz – St.Erhard (after the flooding few years ago, I heard some rumours that the line will be abandoned). Also, if there is some traffic, are there any suggestions about the photo locations?

The line has been repaired. There are also some special trains, the next one is at 17th september 2006. It is a beautiful line, there are some nice photo locations, for example:
-near the former station "Mautstatt" (from the road to St. Erhard, quite far away from the line but a nice view withe the surrounding mountains)
-in the former station "Schafferwerke"
-from the hill near the power station and crossing point "Baumgartwiese"
and many more.
The trains run slow enough to follow them by bicycle.
